What We Do
Welcome to the IAsMA Academy
The IAsMA Academy is the education arm of the Israel Aerospace Medical Association. We build the next generation of aerospace medicine practitioners through journal clubs, expert talks, certified courses, academic partnerships, and a national speakers bureau. Everything is grounded in research, taught by leaders in the field, and open to anyone serious about the work.

Journal Club
A bimonthly forum exploring the latest research in aerospace medicine, bioastronautics, and human spaceflight. Each session is led by a subject-matter expert and brings together students, researchers, and clinicians from Israel and around the world. Moderated by bioastronautics specialist Taylor Lonner. A dedicated space medicine elective in development with the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, designed to introduce medical and biomedical engineering students to the foundations of aerospace medicine, human spaceflight physiology, and translational space research.

In partnership with Technoda, Israel’s leading center for science and technology education, we deliver aerospace medicine curriculum to students in grades 5, 9, and 11. The program is paired with an ongoing pedagogical research study on how to teach the field at scale.
